     Tropes that relate to me
  • I Am SOMETIMES Considerate of Past Me BUT MOSTLY NOT: I am prone to acting on a whim and doing regrettably insane things.
  • I am so sick of tropes. I will destroy tropes. The only thing I am going to leave on this page about me is the above because it is technically a disclaimer about Bad Things I Do and Things I Dont Like Any More, Like A Certain Web Site This is On
Things Catstorm likes/enjoys enough to watch or read them more than once
     things catstorm dislikes
  • the patriarchy
  • gross nerds who argue about pointless stuff on the internet and make references in real life all day
OLD - Catstorm as a Character
  • Author Avatar: Originally wasn't even me. Started advocating things through Catstorm after a while. Now it's permanently the penultimate avatar when everything crumbles.
  • Time Travel: Done to go to the 1980's twice in a comic from 2009. It was lovely.
  • Battle Theme Music: Angel City from Blast Corps.
  • Animal Superheroes: An old theme. My brother created a comic where our pets were superheroes. This wasn't quite Cat's origin, but it turned back into this.
  • Triangle Shades: Worn sometimes in older works and on ROBOT CATSTORM.
     OLD - Kirby RPG Series
Tropes that apply to the original KRPG and its staff. It lasted 1,100 or so pages on the ROBLOX forum before dying out. I slew it with my own hands, ended its life in a mercy kill. I attempted a sequel in which everything gets worse, but that failed as well.
  • Aborted Arc: Too many of the creator's side-stories. Also anything post-Jack of Octrades.
  • Bad Future: The future of the future where the Shadow Lord takes over. In the sequel it's the setting.
  • Bounty Hunter: Mada
  • Development Hell: This happened a lot, but then the sequel rolled around after like 2 years of nothingness.
  • The Future: Set years and years after Kirby lived. The only character that was still alive was Marx, but we killed him anyway.
  • Dreamlanders Can Breathe In Space: Lots of characters have been floating through space.
  • A Day at the Bizarro: When KRPG was "moving", the characters took a trip to a random beach and there was much oddness involved.
  • American Kirby Is Hardcore: Kirbys are shown to be a serious race, not cutesy like in other possible Fan Fics.
  • Cool Starship: We call them Starships, really, but the real cool one is Gigas' vehicle.
  • Early Thread Weirdness: Kirbys named and modeled after other characters, canon characters' involvement, and completely random conversations happened in its first year, 2008.
  • Distressed Damsel: Miu
  • Everythings Squishier With Cephalopods: The Jack of Octrades.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Yayforkirby took a while to be accepted into the story making.
  • Kill Em All: The ending.
  • La Résistance: Arika and others. Could not get their act together and died.
  • Something Completely Different: Catstorm made a lot of side stories which were posted in the middle of anything, completely unrelated to the other characters' quests. Sometimes others would try to be involved, but then Catstorm would leave. (I was a bad leader.)
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: The only way Quo can get off the dwarf planet he ended up on is to leave with someone since he is basically a spirit. Alzeo fortunately drifts there after being expelled from a Starship.
  • The Quiet One: Psian, Tiko.
  • Travel Cool: Starships are very luxurized. A good example is Alzeo's but Gigas' might be too. (It's so big. There must be some fancy lounge in there somewhere)
Tropes that apply to the sequel, Kirby RPG 2, which is DEAD AND I DON'T PLAN ON REVIVING IT EVER:
  • Bad Future: An evil godlike entity has taken command of the galaxy. Nice going.
  • Crapsack World
  • Darker and Edgier: Just what the doctor ordered.
  • Dystopia: Every single planet. Everyone suffers unless they are a propaganda puppet in command. Do you want to work in the stardust mines or go into the military? We'll decide that for you.
  • Egopolis: The entire galaxy is now dedicated to the Shadow Lord's conquest.
  • Evil Overlord: The Shadow Lord, obviously.
  • Hate Dumb: Yoshiguy. Wanted to be a Waddle Dee (a dead race) and then told me off for making the story darker, then formed his own version of my story.
  • Genre Savvy: The Shadow Lord.
    • Don't forget the commander. He doesn't take crap from anyone.
  • Lawful Evil: The Shadow Lord. He can keep Kirbys from entering total chaos, but still is in it for the power and his citizens are only tools to him.
  • Mind Manipulation: The Shadow Lord convinces the bourgeoisie that he is the coolest, ever.
  • Shadow Dictator: Zig-zagged: We know what he looks like from the prequel, but the characters don't.
  • The Corrupter: The Shadow Lord. Plunged the world into 200 years of darkness. Activated the ruin of society on every planet. Ultimately doomed his own race. Hooray! It worked!
  • The Nameless: The commander. Other members of the squad until their spots are taken by roleplayers.
  • The Dragon: The Shadow Lord owns 2 dragons. I originally sketched them to have three slit eyes.
  • Time Skip: Skips to 200 years after the Shadow Lord has taken over. It's definitely not pretty.
  • X Meets Y: Kirby meets Halo. Also, Kirby RPG meets its end.
